Q. Turnitin Draft Coach via Google Docs

Turnitin Draft Coach is available to DLSU account holders, providing access to Turnitin similarity reports, citation reports and grammar guides. Turnitin Draft Coach can be used via Google Docs or Microsoft Word Outlook 365.


 

1. Open a Google doc file using your DLSU Gmail account and Turnitin Draft Coach should automatically be accessible in "Extensions"
   Note:
   [1] Turnitin Draft Coach works only with native Google Docs. If you imported an MS Word file from Google Drive, convert it into a "Google Doc" first.
   [2] Turnitin Draft Coach may not load properly in "Incognito" mode.
   
    
2. Turnitin Draft Coach will appear on the right side of the screen. Click "Get Feedback Now" to begin
   
    
3. To run a "Similarity Check" transfer or upload your file to Google Docs, click "Run Similarity Check" then select "Confirm" to proceed
   
    
4. Your similarity score will be displayed
   Note: If you need to submit an updated version of your paper, click "Run New Similarity Check"
   
    

   IMPORTANT REMINDERS
   1. You have three (3) similarity checks per draft.
   2. If you are not yet satisfied with your similarity score and ran out of similarity checks, open a new Google Doc and repeat the process to get 3 new similarity checks.
