Yes, a book that is currently checked out by another user can be placed on hold. Follow these steps:
- Visit AnimoSearch (http://animosearch.dlsu.edu.ph), log into your MyLibrary account and search for the item you wish to borrow
Important Reminders :
- Please make sure that you have successfully logged in, or you won’t be able to place the book on hold
- Only books that are currently checked out by another user can be reserved online
- On the results page, click the item and select Request under the Get It section
- Choose the library where you would like to pick up the item then click Send Request
- The library will notify you via email once the item is returned and available
- Visit the campus and library section where the item is located to pick it up
