Q. Status "+1 Hold"

"+1 Hold" means that another patron has placed the item on hold or reserve. The number after the "+" sign indicates the library patrons who reserved the book on hold status. In this case, the patron currently holding the book may not renew it if someone else has reserved for it. Therefore, he or she must return the book on or before its due date so that the next patron who put it on hold could borrow it.
