I returned the book due on July 29 on the due date at around 6:30-6:45, but the library was already closed. I dropped the book in the 'book return'. Will I get an offense?
The book "Principles of Corporate Finance" was due on July 29. I didn't know that the library closes at 6pm. I went to the library at around 6:30-6:45, but the library was already closed. One of the guards told me to leave it in the "book return" located at the Henry Sy Gate. I was able to put the book at the "book return on the due date. Will I still get an offense?

Books returned via the book chutes are picked-up and checked in the morning of the next working day. If you return the book before or on its due date, your account will be cleared.
